About Oribi Toll Plaza

The Oribi Plaza is named after the Oribi Gorge — a spectacular 24 km ravine nearby that is now protected as Oribi Gorge Nature Reserve. The gorge was carved by the Mzimkulwana River through sedimentary rock over millions of years and is one of the largest gorges in southern Africa. The N2 South Coast is a popular holiday route from Durban to the wild coast and Eastern Cape. SANRAL manages this section of the N2 directly, with the Oribi Plaza serving as the primary revenue collection point for the South Coast road infrastructure.
