About Kranskop Toll Plaza
North of Carousel Plaza, the N1 management transfers from Bakwena back to SANRAL, which operates Kranskop, Nyl, Capricorn, and Baobab plazas on the route to Beit Bridge. Kranskop is situated in the Waterberg region of Limpopo, an area known for its bushveld and game farms. The plaza serves the section between Bela-Bela (a popular hot-spring resort town) and Mokopane, a mining and agricultural centre. A ramp plaza (R17) also exists at Kranskop for local traffic exiting toward Modimolle/Nylstroom.
